When Scholars are done unpacking if there is time scholars are able to leave campus to get supplies or stop get to lunch. The scholar are suppose to meet with there hall at a specific time.
Scholar meet with their Residential Advisor (or RA for short). The parent or guardian of the scholar goes to a meeting in Norton Center of The Art instead of going home.The RA is suppose to lead to activities that are there to get to know scholars. The scholar do ice breakers which are supposed to get to know the other scholars.After the Hall Meeting there is a Scholars walk with their RA to Norton Center of Arts. Scholars are then wait for their parent or guardian. When picked up the Scholar go with there significant other experience opening ceremony.

Aris Cedeno executive director of program talks about how this program is not a walled garden think of it as irrigation system. He does a procedure where he call all the RA's then calls out and Faculty member. He does each person one by one making them stand up then after that until they are all call. One the people of Centre talks about at GSP you are going to experience failure since one trying new things. The person goes on a tangent about her mule. About she never owning a mule having to get training.
