During my time at GSP I took over 2500+ pictures and there was many limitation with my camera when doing taking picture. This is not deter the reader from enjoying my photos because the photos are great.
First thing was the battery life. At GSP I had one battery which would drain quickly so keeping on the camera on at all times is hard to do. At showcase as an example when I was taking photo battery had basically no charge so I had to take a picture then immediately I had to turn off the camera and then back on. Since the battery was dead I could not take picture of all the events. For example during forensic science focus area there was blood splatter activity. With a mirrorless camera advantage is the mass of camera but the battery life was not as good.
The lens I had was 18mm - 55mm f3.5 - f5.6. Having a zoom lens is useful since allows the photographer to have a variety of focal length that using. But the max appeture makes shooting in dark conditions hard to do. The condition of the lens was also not the best. When shooting at smaller appetures such as f/22 there was haze and dust on the image.
